Popular Berrien County pizza joint closed temporarily after blaze

A popular pizza joint is going to have to close their doors for a while.

Fire broke out at DiMaggio’s Pizza on M-63 in Hagar Township during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Feb. 20.

The fire was contained to the south end of the building, which includes the bar, but the damage was present throughout the restaurant.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
