Indiana man arrested on OWI, concealed weapons charge near Three Rivers

An Indiana man was arrested in St. Joseph County, Michigan, on OWI and concealed weapons charges.

The 49 year-old man was stopped around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, for driving 74 miles per hour in a 55 zone, according to authorities as reported by 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

He was stopped on US 131 near Michigan 216 in Three Rivers, and had a blood alcohol content that was roughly three times the legal limit of .08 .

He also had a concealed weapon and a valid permit, but was charged for it because he was intoxicated when it was discovered, authorities stated.
