It’s life in prison without the chance of parole for a Niles Township man convicted of killing his wife.

John Lewis, 49, learned his fate on Monday, March 25.

He was convicted in February for the 2017 murder of Carla Lewis, 55.

He was also found guilty of having an illegal marijuana grow operating in his home.

Lewis had claimed his wife was shot by two intruders who then took off in her car.

Prosecutors argued Lewis was having affairs and stood to get a life insurance windfall from her death.
