The two students at Discovery Middle School who were involved in a fight that went viral on social media have been arrested and charged in the bullying incident.

The fight happened earlier this month at the Penn-Harris-Madison school in Granger.

The video, recorded April 8th, shows a boy in a black shirt repeatedly punching another boy in a school restroom. A second boy recording the incident is heard encouraging the beating on the video.

Both boys, who are 14 years of age, have been charged with battery resulting in serious bodily injury and are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in South Bend. The victim sustained a concussion, and may require surgery to recover from his head injuries.
