On Feb. 28 at 7:45 a.m. detectives with the Elkhart Police Department were notified of a fraud report.

Detectives conducted an investigation and learned that several checks were stolen from the victim and used at various locations.

Detectives were able to obtain surveillance footage from one of the locations where the suspects passed the stolen checks.
