It began with a pair of crashes in Elkhart County on Friday.
Police say a rear-end crash happened around 3 p.m. Friday at the exit ramp of US 20 at SR 19. The driver who was hit was taken to a hospital with complaints of back pain.
Meanwhile, three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash around 9 p.m. Friday night. It happened at the intersection of CR 3 and CR 30 when police say a 22 year-old Goshen man ran a stop sign and struck the passenger side of a car driven by a 32 year-old Wakarusa woman. Both drivers and a passenger in the first vehicle complained of pain and were taken to a hospital. The Goshen man was issued a citation for failing to stop at the sign.
Finally, Goshen police are investigating a fatal crash Sunday afternoon involving a motorcycle. It happened near the 20000 block of CR 19. Police say it’s being investigated as a traffic crash but no other details have been released, including what they believe happened.
