Bristol man injured in hit-and-run crash in Cass County, search for suspect driver underway

A 30-year-old Bristol man is recovering after a hit-and-run crash in Cass County.

The collision happened just after 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 26 on U.S. 12 near Sunset Blvd. in Porter Township.

The Bristol man was forced off the roadway by an uncoming vehicle that was illegally passing another vehicle on a curve, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The Bristol man’s truck rolled when he left the roadway.

He was helped out of the vehicle by witnesses and was taken to the hospital for teatment.
