17-year-old boy killed in Woodhill Lane shooting in South Bend identified

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has identified the 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed on Woodhill Lane in South Bend on late Wednesday night, June 19.

Darnell A. Tobar II, was pronounced dead at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the
hospital.

Tobar did not live at the address, but was just visiting.

As of Thursday afternoon, no arrests were yet made.
