Monday, it became easier to go online and calculate child support payments in the state of Indiana.
The improved calculators have been updated to comply with a new law that changes the conditions under which child support duty ends. One is designed for parents, and the other for attorneys, judges, social workers and other officials.
About 850 million dollars in child support was collected and paid to parents through the court system in 2018.
The state says the previously published, downloadable child support calculator for Windows is now obsolete and should no longer be used.
