A teenager in Niles Township was injured by a flying tree limb on Wednesday.

ABC 57 reports the boy heard the wind pick up Wednesday night and went outside to retrieve his scooter. When he was going back inside, a gust of wind ripped off the front door of the house, shattered the glass, and threw the branch into his back and hip.

He was left prone on the floor until an ambulance arrived.
