A Cassopolis man was injured after losing control of his car and struck a tree.

The Cass County Sheriff’s office says 51 year-old Kenneth Warter was driving south on Robinson Road when he lost control and hit a tree. It happened around 9:30 Saturday night.

Deputies believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, and Warter was transported to a hospital.
