Fans of Willie Nelson were disappointed this week.

The 86 year-old singer tweeted Wednesday that he was cancelling his tour. That includes a show scheduled for Friday night in Grand Rapids, another next month in Noblesville, and the Farm Aid show with John Mellencamp on September 21st. He cited “breathing problems” and a need to check in with his doctor.

Last summer Nelson canceled an appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival due to illness, and was also forced to cancel several dates in 2018.
