Police in Van Buren County say a man crashed into a restaurant in South Haven after his car struck a roundabout and went airborne.

South Haven Emergency Services says it happened around 10 p.m. at the Maple Grove Bar and Grill at M-43 and 12th Avenue.

The driver was transported to a hospital in Kalamazoo. The bar was closed at the time but the owner and several employees were still inside.

The owner was struck by debris but no one inside was injured in the crash.
