A man was shot at Beacon Heights Apartments in the 3700 block of North Curtiss Drive in South Bend.

South Bend Police were called to the area just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12.

On scene, they found the victim suffering two gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The victim was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery, according to Metro Homicide.

The was no word of the circumstances that led to the shooting. There was no word of any suspects or arrests.
