South Bend Police are investigating a shooting late last night that injured a woman.

Shotspotter said it happened in the 1200 block of West Washington shortly before 1130 p.m.

35 year-old woman was found at the scene suffering from an apparent non-life threatening injury to her abdomen. She told police she was inside her home when she heard gunfire outside, and then felt pain.
