The Benton Harbor School Board is cutting no corners as they search for a new Superintendent.

At the board meeting on Tuesday it was announced that they have hired an independent recruiting firm to conduct the search.

Ray & Associates has been tasked with find a permanent fit for the job as expectations have been set very high by the state. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has said that if the district wants to stay open it needs to find someone “highly qualified” to fit the role.
