A K9 officer with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office is a four-legged hero today after tracking and finding the suspects in an attack at a home off Hoffman Road.

The suspects were a 30 year-old Niles woman and a 19 year-old Edwardsburg man, who are accused of entering a home and pepper-spraying the homeowner during a fight.

The suspects were not at the scene when police arrived but the K9, Faust, was able to track them to a location more than four miles away.

A third suspect was also arrested for outstanding warrants.
