Car vs. Pedestrian Crash in Cass County

Credit Cass County Sherrif

Officials in Cass County say neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in a car vs pedestrian crash that happened on Sunday. It happened on Beebe Rd. and Leet Rd. in Howard Township.

They say a 37 year old Niles resident was driving south on Leet Rd as the pedestrian, 30 year old Mel Wynn, was walking northbound. That is when the collision happened.

Wynn was transported to South Bend Memorial but there has been no update on his condition.
