Applications are now open for the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation scholarship.
To apply, students must:
- Be an Indiana resident who is an incoming or continuing student at an accredited Indiana college;
- Have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale;
- Volunteer at a public safety organization such as fire, law enforcement, emergency management or emergency medical services (validated by chief executive).
Full-time students with at least 12 credit hours per semester are eligible for $2,000 scholarships; part-time students with at least six hours per semester are eligible for $1,000 scholarships.
The scholarship must be used during the awarded school year.
