Concord JHS Student faces possible expulsion after threat

A student at Concord Junior High School was suspended and faces possible expulsion after making threats to harm students and staff.

Officials say it happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when the student reportedly threatened to harm students at an event next week.

School officials say that another student reported the threats to a teacher who immediately informed school administrators and the police.

An investigation confirmed that the student made the threats. Charges were filed with the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office and further action may be taken.
