Elkhart Police detective pleads guilty to breaking and entering, harassment charges

A former Elkhart Police detective is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to breaking into his ex-wife’s home.

Scott Hupp was arrested back in September 2018 for breaking and entering, and for telephone harassment.

Thursday, Hupp pleaded guilty to one count of Residential Breaking and Entering, and two counts of Harrassment by Means of a Telephone, according to ABC 57.

He will be sentenced on November 22.
