17-year-old injured after shooting on Fairview Avenue Friday

A 17-year-old is injured following a reported shooting in South Bend Friday afternoon.

Police were called to the 300 block of E. Fairview Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. where they found the boy suffering from a wound to the ankle.

ABC 57 reports police are now searching for two suspects, who are both described as black males. One was reportedly wearing a red hoodie, the other wearing a black or blue hoodie.

Anyone with information related to the case is being asked to call the South Bend Police Department at (574) 235-9201 or Crime Stoppers at (574) 288-STOP.
