Indianapolis man injured in crash in Jefferson Township

An Indianapolis man was taken to the hospital after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into some woods.

The collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sep. 22, at M-60 and Hospital Street in Jefferson Township in Cass County.

The 28-year-old man was traveling westbound on Hospital Street when he lost control of his vehicle and ran the stop sign at M-60, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles for treatment.

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
