Sunday’s rain to usher in cooler temps for week ahead

Scattered showers and storms that work their way through our area on Sunday will bring cooler temperatures to Michiana for the week ahead.

Heavy rain is possible at times beginning late Sunday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures rise near 80 degrees before the front passes.

Monday is much cooler and fall-like for the first day of Fall (autumnal equinox).

Temperatures remain in the 70s through much of next week before climbing back near 80 by next weekend.

Sunday: Scattered showers/storms likely by late day with heavy rain possible. Breezy. High of 81.

Sunday Night: Showers possible early. Low of 58.

Monday: Slight chance of an AM shower, then decreasing clouds. High of 72.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High of 74.
