An Elkhart man has been arrested for arson following a fire that happened back in August.

Elkhart Police were first dispatched to the Cueramaro Supermarket on Lusher Road on August 9 after receiving reports of arson.

An investigation, conducted by Detectives of the Elkhart Police Department and Investigators of the Elkhart Fire Department, determined Bruce Collins, 51, as a suspect.

Collins was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 22 just after 1:30 p.m. He is facing one charge of Arson.
