The Reverend John Jenkins will conclude his third five-year term on June 30th. Friday morning the University of Notre Dame Board of Trustees elected him to a fourth term during their fall meeting on the campus.

Chairman John Brennan said the president’s “insight, wisdom and steady hand have allowed Notre Dame to expand its research portfolio,” and has fostered global growth for the school.

Jenkins said he was honored by the confidence the Trustees have shown to him, and he looks forward to accomplishing more in the future.
