Elkhart Republican Mayoral Candidate faints during debate

The Republican candidate for mayor of Elkhart is pressing forward with his campaign after he fainted at a debate, according to The Elkhart Truth.

Dave Miller recovered quickly, but the debate on Monday, Oct. 14, was cut short.

Miller explained he suffers from an irregular heartbeat.

He said he’s recently sought medical help and it is not a life-threatening situation. Back in 2011, Miller says he was diagnosed with occasional atrial fibrillation, The Elkhart Truth reported.

Miller also fainted during a previous debate last month.
