A Goshen man has been taken into custody following a hit and run crash Tuesday morning.
Gerardo Fuentes Cortez, 49, is facing one charge of Leaving the Scene of a Serious Bodily Injury Crash.
A 17-year-old girl was hit around 4:30 a.m. while riding her bike on County Road 17, just north of County Road 52.
She had to be airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Her condition has not been released.
When police arrived to the crash site, the vehicle involved was not at the scene.
