A crash turned fatal on US 30 Tuesday afternoon.

Police were first called to the crash, near the intersection of Plymouth Goshen Trail, around 2:30 p.m.

ABC 57 reports a vehicle traveling northbound on Plymouth Goshen Trail pulled in front of a semi heading eastbound on US 30.

The semi struck the vehicle, causing it to flip and land upside down in the median.

The woman who died is identified as Dorcuas Figueroa, 44. Another person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

A dog was also inside the car and is being cared for at the Marshall County Humane Society.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
