A Lagrange County Deputy started chasing after Jacob Arnold of Avilla, after he nearly hit them head on while driving his ATV.

The chase itself went off-road going through a bean field on CR 700 S and eventually a swampy area when the suspect got stuck and tried to run on foot. Sheriffs then deployed a drone and found him not far away.

His charges include resisting law enforcement, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, driving while suspended, and OWI. He also was wanted on a warrant out of Noble County.
