The Plymouth Community School Corporation placed four of its schools on lockout Thursday after police were informed of a man with a gun walking along Columbus Drive.

ABC 57 reports Jefferson Elementary, Riverside Intermediate, Lincoln Jr. High School and Plymouth High School were all included in the lockout. During this time, classes continued as normal, but anyone going in or out of the schools had to be screened by police.

Meantime, Plymouth officers were able to track down the man causing suspicion, and report he did not have a gun in his possession.

The lockout was then lifted.
