Man dies in Berrien County fire Tuesday morning

A man has died after a structure fire in Berrien County Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the 900 block of Paw Paw Avenue in Benton Township shortly before 6 a.m. where they found the structure to be engulfed in flames.

ABC 57 reports the fire department extinguished the fire and then searched the home, where they found a 58-year-old man dead inside.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
