La Porte County man arrested for slew of charges, including strangulation and criminal confinement

A La Porte County man was arrested last week for a slew of charges including criminal confinement and strangulation.

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, police were called to a home in the 8700 south block of CR 800 W. in Clinton Township for a battery investigation.

ABC 57 reports officers investigated for a few days before executing two search warrants at the home on Friday, Oct. 25.

Jacob Gilmore, 24, was arrested and booked in the La Porte County Jail on preliminary charges of Criminal Confinement (two counts), Domestic Battery, Intimidation, Possession of Methamphetamine and Strangulation.

He’s being held on a $25,005 cash-only bond.
