A Kosciusko County man is behind bars after a SWAT standoff over the weekend.

It started when a man was shot during an “altercation” at a home in Etna Green. That man then drove himself back to Milford where he called police with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Then around 10am Sunday morning police went back to Etna Green to find 53 year old Shawn McCrum. He didn’t respond to officers commands, SWAT was activated, and when he still wouldn’t respond to order SWAT forced their way into the home and he surrendered. No word on charges yet.

The injuries to the shooting victim were not life threatening.
