Keep a close eye on your kids school schedule, because some districts have already announced they are taking the day off Tues Nov. 19th.

Indiana Teacher’s Association Red for Ed Action Day-a day when teachers from all around the state meet at the state house to advocate for public education. The problem is with so many teachers taking the day off schools don’t have the resources to keep class open.

South Bend Community Schools has already announced they will be closed, and so has Concord Community Schools, but don’t think there is any animosity between the district and teachers. Superintendents from both of those school districts released statements saying they are happy to support their teachers and the opportunity to exercise their rights and support.
