The Elkhart County Courthouse in Goshen is getting a big facelift.

The iconic 150 year-old building will be getting upgrades to the security system and other improvements.

WSBT reports that $200,000 has been set aside to make those changes. Another $200,000 will make interior changes like painting, new carpeting and remodeled bathrooms.

Some new furniture is also being planned for the courts and county offices. Input was gathered from judges and other employees.
