Concord’s Superintendent Retiring

Concord Schools will once again be looking for a new Superintendent. Tim Tahara, who took over the job after 8 years as the assistant superintendent in 2018 has decided to retire at the end of the school year.

The school board approved the decision on Monday night. Tahara said he would like to spend more time with his family and says the decision reflects the “best interests of the students and staff”.

His retirement will take effect June 30th, 2020.
