Benton Harbor School Board members have selected Dr. Andrae Townsel as the new superintendent.
Townsel previously served as Assistant Superintendent Wayne-Westland Community Schools in Westland, Michigan.
Townsel will take over for interim Superintendent Patricia Robinson, who been in charge since former Superintendent Dr. Robert Herrera left last summer.
