Alyssa Shepherd, the woman that was found guilty on charges related to a school bus stop crash that killed three in Fulton County, will be sentenced later today.

She was found guilty in October on charges that included three counts of reckless homicide, one count of criminal recklessness, and one count of driving around a school bus with a stop arm extended.

The crash in October of 2018 claimed the lives of Alivia Stahl, and her two brothers Mason and Xavier Ingle. It also seriously injured another child. During the trial she testified that she saw the lights but didn’t realize that it was a bus that was stopped.

Shepherd has been out on bond since that accident. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for 1pm at the Fulton County Courthouse
