A teenager charged in a fatal shooting earlier this year will go on trial early next year.

Court documents show the jury trial for 16-year-old Emerson Oviedo has been rescheduled for February 2nd.

Prosecutors charge Oviedo in the March shooting death of 19-year-old Marco Terrazas Jr. inside Terrazas’s Elkhart home.

Police arrested Oviedo following a brief foot pursuit.
