Edwardsburg man, 26, injured in crash in Newberg Township

A 26-year-old Edwardsburg man is recovering from injuries after a crash on Bald Hill street near Tower Road in Newberg Township.

The collision happend around 7:20 p.m.on Friday, Dec. 20, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle, ran off the roadway in the curves and struck a guard rail and tree, the sheriff’s department reported.

He was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment of his injuries.

Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be a factor. This case remains under investigation.
