Food Bank donations drop after the holidays

(Photo supplied/Food Bank of Northern Indiana)

The holidays are over, and that means a drop in donations at The Food Bank of Northern Indiana.

But the need doesn’t end when the big donations do. So the Food Bank is asking anyone who is making space in their pantry to donate food they aren’t going to eat.

There is always a need for simple things like soup, canned meat, peanut butter, oatmeal and other non-perishable items. Donations of cleaning supplies and personal care items are also welcome, and you can always help out by volunteering your time, as well.

Does this mean that the leeches will now have to go to work and buy their own food?
