Governor Eric Holcomb’s campaign has filed more than 9000 petition signatures to put him on the ballot for reelection.

The signatures were filed at courthouses and offices across all 92 Indiana counties on Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates for governor are required to collect 500 signatures from registered voters in each of Indiana’s nine congressional districts, and filed by February 4, 2020.

Recent polls show Holcomb’s statewide approval rating at 61%. Last June, his campaign set a mid-year record for cash-on-hand.
