A sentence has been handed down in the shooting death of Avery Brown at the former Bleachers Bar.

Timothy Mayberry has been given a 75 year sentence for the shooting death of Brown. That’s 65 years for murder, and 10 years for gun enhancement.

The shooting happened in September of 2018 in the restroom of the bar on Grape Road. The bar closed its doors for good a few days after the murder.

A jury found Mayberry guilty in December.
