The President of Indiana’s Franklin College was fired over the weekend after an arrest in Wisconsin.
Thomas Minar was arrested for “use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime, child enticement, and to expose a child to harmful matter.”
The Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin Police Department notified the college of his arrest by email.
Minar, who was named Franklin’s 16th president in July of 2015, announced last year that he would be leaving the school at the end of this academic year. The Board of Trustees at Frankiln says they are “stunned by this event.”
