The study from Wallethub looked at several different metrics in developing their rankings.
It looked at both Professional and College football; weighed performance metrics for the teams, and even considered city size when making the rankings. Overall South Bend came in at 95th, but when weighed against similar sized cities South Bend ranked 17th. The news isn’t all good though.
With Notre Dame in the backyard South Bend was tied for dead last for college ticket affordability. Notre Dame introduced tiered ticketing prices in 2017.
