St. Joseph County man charged with killing, torturing animal

A St. Joseph County man is facing up to six years in prison for torturing and killing an animal.

On Thursday, January 30, Jeremy Lindsey, 18, was arrested after he allegedly tortured and killed a three-week old puppy.

Friday, Lindsey was ordered held without bond until his initial hearing on the following charges:

  • Killing a Domestic Animal (Level 6 Felony)
  • Torturing or Mutilating a Vertebrate Animal (Level 6 Felony)
  • Cruelty to an Animal (Class A Misdemeanor)

His initial bail hearing and arraignment are set for Monday at 1 p.m.

If convicted, Lindsey faces anywhere from one year to six years in prison.

And yet, it’s legal to murder and torture an unborn, nearly-born, and in some cases already born, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
