The collision happened around 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3 on Redfield St. and Fir Rd. in Milton Township.

The 25-year-old Niles woman was heading west on Redfield St., stopped at the intersection and proceeded to turn South on Fir Rd.

As the driver was turning, a 16-year-old Niles driver failed to stop at the stop sign and  crashed into the older woman’s vehicle. This caused the victim’s vehicle to spin and hit another vehicle heading west on Redfield.

The driver of that vehicle, a 60-year-old resident of Granger was stopped when her vehicle was struck. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joe Regional Medical Center. The teenage driver and his passenger were checked out and cleared at the scene.

The Niles woman did not sustain any injuries.
