Old2Gold is officially over

(Photo supplied/Notre Dame presss release)

Sad news for Michiana bargain hunters, as the Old2gold sale is going away. Word has come from the university that they are discontinuing the sale and instead donating all the merchandise to Goodwill.

Every year since 2004 Notre Dame took items left behind or donated by students and put them up for sale. The first 10 years of the sale were held at at Notre Dame Stadium and since 2015 at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds.

Previously all leftover items had been donated to goodwill, a press release says Notre Dames new agreement with Goodwill is similar to one Goodwill already has with St. Mary’s.
