South Bend’s soccer team has a home, and a new partnership in the community

South Bend’s new pre-professional soccer franchise has a new home, and has announced a partnership with the South Bend Community School Corporation.

The South Bend Lions will practice and play their home games at TCU School Field, after the school board approved a one-year $10,000 lease.

The Lions open their inaugural season on May 15th when they host Ann Arbor.

The team’s players and coaches will also provide a mentoring program for local students in the spring and summer, and provide special soccer community events in the city.

Ticket information for the Lions is expected by the end of the week.
